It is true that SEAS loudspeaker
drivers are already known to almost anyone who is involved to the world of HiFi.
During the last decades a lot of
loudspeaker manufacturers experienced a decadence that swept them out of business.
In this adverse business
conditions SEAS of Norway managed not only to maintain its role in the European HiFi
market but to expand and grow their presence in the area of audiophile and Hi-End speaker
industry.

If one wants to evaluate the
successful technical decisions taken by SEAS, the answer is simple : How many loudspeaker
manufacturers still produce and sell drivers designed six or ten years ago ?
We at MTZ Audio believe that this
is the time for this Norwegian manufacturer to benefit from what its engineering laid as
design rules ten or more years ago !

To our opinion there is no 'cheap'
series among SEAS drivers ! Our own experience states that even in the 'Standard Series'
the stiff polypropylene cone originally introduced by SEAS many years ago, actually
outperforms a lot of expensive and well respected drivers made by other brands. Of course
this would never have happened without the decisive superiority of SEAS magnet-plus-voice
coil motors. We have tested these motors' linearity near the limits and have come to the
conclusion that SEAS engineers bear the 'right secret' that many far-east manufacturers
still ignore.

During the last years SEAS driver
series was enriched by a whole new set of innovative realizations :

ratings !
