family goes back to 1917 in Canada.

In the process of time the Hammonds have
evolved into a well-established manufacturing company quite famous for almost all kinds of
transformers.
At the moment Hammond MFG has become quite
popular among audio enthousiasts especially those who favour tube amplification.
Hammond MFG of Canada provides an endless
variety of products for audio applications : Power/ Interstage/ Output transformers, Choke
series, Alum Chassis series. |
The company's know-how,
as well as the products, is practically unlimited :
power
transformers : board mount, vertical, low-profile, epoxy cast, low-voltage/filament,

Hammond Manufacturing Group
produces output and interstage transformers for valve amplifiers since the '30s.
Regardless of what the amplification topology might be, a Single Ended (SE) or an
ambitious Push-Pull (PP) circuitry, Hammond provides the right transformer.
The last 75 years the company
features a constant process of evolution and improvement, a fact which has been
intensified the last years due to the increased popularity of valve audio amplification.

Designed for Push-Pull (PP) tube output circuits.
Minimum frequency response (except for 1650E) 30 Hz to 30 KHz at FULL RATED
power (+/- 1 dB max. / ref. 1 KHz) !
For the 1650E minimum frequency response 70 Hz to 30 KHz at FULL RATED power
(+/- 1 dB max. / ref. 1 KHz) !
Insulated flexible leads 20cm min.
All units except for the 1650G, include a 40% screen tap for Ultra-Linear
operation.
Typical applications include PP : triode, Ultra-Linear pentode, pentode and
tetrode connected audio output. The 1650G does NOT have primary screen tap and does NOT
support "Ultra Linear" operation.
